BOSTON — Now 100 starts into his Major League career, it’s still nearly impossible to predict what Daisuke Matsuzaka might do on a given night. But nobody could have foreseen quite how rapidly things would unravel for the enigmatic right-hander on Monday night at Fenway Park.
Quite simply, Matsuzaka didn’t give his team much of a chance to win, getting belted around early and often amid a 16-5 loss to the Rays.
