Bonus Sneak of The Week
![]()
So far, the Nike LeBron 8 V2 has proven to be the most well-received out of the three-headed monster Nike has supplied King James with this season. We have witnessed the releases of sought-after colorways such as the “Stoplight” Nike LeBron 8 V2 and the “Entourage” Nike LeBron 8 V2. We will be able to add this never-before-seen “Sprite” Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low to this short, must-have list that should be in everyone’s collection. This variation, which is obviously inspired by ever-so-popular soft drink, features an eye-catching Treasure Blue tone for most of the upper with hints of white and volt on the inner lining, Swoosh and tongue border. To coincide with those elements, Nike applied a volt-colored, full-length Max Air sole unit. Stay tuned to Sports Rapp Live and Htown Sneaker Summit and Nice Kicks for all the latest news from around the sneaker world. What are you preliminary thoughts on the Nike LeBron 8 V2 Low “Sprite”?
HTSS x SRL Sneak of The Week #96

The Sneak Of The Week is the UNDFTD x Puma Clyde Canvas Collection. Just in time to kick off summer UNDFTD releases an all new Puma Clyde pack in a light weight and breathable canvas upper. Although the shoes bare a striking resemblance to their ‘Stripe-Off‘ pack, this time we see the return of the signature Puma stripes. However the stripe on the medial side is made of tonal canvas, while the lateral side presents a bold color contrasting stripe in premium leather. Iconic UNDFTD branding graces the shoes tongue tags and insoles, while classic Puma Clyde branding is also present in it’s usual locations. The UNDFTD x Puma Clyde Canvas Collection will release in limited quantities at select Puma retailers Saturday, June 11 such asPremium Goods in Houston, and Nice Kicks in Austin. Shrinkage

Can we PLEASE stop comparing LBJ to MJ? We went through this with Kobe for years and now the next natural comparison is LeBron. Good Luck with that one. LeBron is the first LeBron and 15 years from now our kids will be saying “Oh, he’s the next LeBron…” Well that kid better be the greatest ALL AROUND basketball player in the world, because after it’s all said and done we probably won’t even remember the one or 2 games that LeBron “shrank” as they say. Michael Jeffery Jordan NEVER lost a Finals and was the MVP of all 6, so if anything if D. Wade ends up with 6 or 7 and plays like he has in his 2 Finals appearances thus far, we should be comparing him to #23. Let LeBron be LeBron and he will prove why he doesn’t have to score 32 a night in order to be considered The King. Heat win big tonite and LBJ goes bananas with a triple double…just a hunch.
An Early Bad Rapp
We all know LeBron is a huge Jay-Z guy, so I would say The Takeover has begun. The ether is being extinguished by the King himself. Now I’m all for free press and reporters having the right to ask whatever questions they feel will help produce a meaningful story. What I’m not for is pointed questions that are only intended to beat on the hornets nest. All season long LeBron has silenced the haters, critics, non believers, doubters, assholes, douchebags, and everyone else who has reached and grabbed for anything they could conjure up. This latest act of douchbaggery just really takes it to the next level. Gregg Doyle is wrong for his comments. And if you argue that, then just like him you shouldn’t be talking about sports if you don’t understand how a great team works as a team. I don’t care care how well respected you are in the game, what this guy did last night was not journalism, its amateur hour at the Laff Dump.
HTSS x SRL Sneak of the Week #95

The Sneak Of The Week is the Nike SB Eric Koston 1. Finally after nearly two years since adding Eric Koston to their roster, Nike Skateboarding is ready to release the veteran’s first signature shoe on their brand. The shoe boast a simple and clean minimalist design, yet upon closer inspection and wear one can appreciate subtle innovations such as an all new cup sole construction, and the first use of the popular Nike Running Lunarlon technology in a Skateboarding shoe, with the removable mid sole (similar to the Air Jordan 2011). After debuting exclusively in Los Angeles in a extremely limited and luxurious Kobe Bryant inspired package retailing for a cool stack, the Eric Koston 1 will be debuting Worldwide in three colorways Saturday, June 4th at Nike SB retailers such as Southside Skate Park. Tressel gone wild

UPPER ARLINGTON, Ohio — Former Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel told people at a rally on his front doorstep that he would always be a Buckeye and that the team will beat Michigan again this November.
After a crowd of some 200 people had sung a song disparaging the archrival Wolverines early Saturday evening, Tressel said, “Don’t forget: Nov. 26th we’re going to kick their ass!”
