The event is one of the largest sneaker collector showcases in the world and has grown over the last 8 years from a tiny sports bar to stadium status to convention center, all with the support of collectors, brands, sneakerheads, and shops from around the country. Stay tuned to Sports Rapp Live each and every week for all the details and events planned for the HTSS 2012 Weekend!

If you missed the BIG announcement last night on SRL, we will be taking our talents back to the AM radio airwaves beginning in 2012.

Now you will be able to listen to Sports Rapp Live every Thursday AND Sunday night on Sports Talk 790 from 8-10pm. We are very excited to join the likes of Matt Jackson, Adam Wexler, Charlie Pallilo, Matt Thomas, and of course Lance Zierlein on Houston’s most entertaining sports talk station. Sports Rapp Live makes its 790 debut on Thursday January 12th LIVE from Junction Bar n Grill (160 W. Gray Houston, TX 77019) and the debut of Sunday Rapp Up on Sunday January 15th just in time for all the NFL Playoff action. Thanks to the Htown Rapp Pack for all the support over the last few years, we need you more than ever to tune in and help us spread the word about our new venture.

Well, there’s nothing more than being proven wrong, especially when it means that the hometown team GETS IT RIGHT! Congrats to the Houston Texans on finally reaching the playoffs by winning in Clutch City fashion on Sunday. They clinched the AFC South with a thrilling win over the Cincy Bengals led by 3rd String rookie TJ Yates and a defense that has stepped up to the challenge all season. Now everyone who listens to SRL knows I have been skeptical about the heart (and coaching decisions) of this team for years now, but like any breakout team, there is something different about this year’s Texans.

Our friends and favorite rap group from Htown, 220 Music have teamed up with the Cool Table Kids (Authentic Snoopy, Ahead of Class, and New Era gang) for a night of rapping and kids unwrapping new toys for Xmas.
