(UPI) – Ben & Jerry’s made an ethnic faux pas with its limited-edition Jeremy Lin-inspired frozen yogurt at its Harvard Square shop in Cambridge, Mass.

The flavor the ice cream company created for Lin, a Harvard graduate and a rookie sensation for the New York Knicks, dubbed “Taste the Lin-Sanity,” featured fortune cookie pieces, which were quickly replaced by waffle pieces, The Boston Globe reported.

“There seemed to be a bit of an initial backlash about it, but we obviously weren’t looking to offend anybody and the majority of the feedback about it has been positive,” Ryan Midden, Ben & Jerry’s general manager for Boston and Cambridge, said Friday.

The cops are about to bust you for possession of marijuana, so what do you do?  If you’re Elijah Dukes you eat it.

That’s right, you eat it.

When officers approached him, they saw flakes of marijuana on Dukes’ shirt, the report said. Dukes, 27, who played for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2007, was also trying to eat a small bag of pot, police said.
